Lora Jost is an artist with a studio in Lawrence, Kansas. She has done a fabulous job of creating graphics for my web pages.

The first one, which graced the Marc Becker Home Page at the University of Kansas where I was a graduate student, was originally an invite for my dissertation defense party. This web page no longer exists.

The second one was for my web page at Illinois State University where I taught for a year. This web page no longer exists, but I use it to link to my teaching from my home page.

Lora made the third in this series while I was at Gettysburg College where I had an incredibly gorgeous office.

During the 2006-2007 academic year, I was on sabbatical and asked Lora to make an image to illustrate my many travels around the world using up a lifetime supply of carbon credits.
