Bob Rabin (on the right) is a coordinator of the Committee for the Rescue and Development of Vieques. He noted that he was glad that the Navy will no longer be able to use Vieques to train to kill innocent civilians in places like Iraq, but the struggle is not completely over. Vestiges of military weapons remain (like a radar site) and the island is still very contaminated.
