The "Impact Zone" where the Navy carried out their practice bombing. On the horizon on the upper-right of the photo is the Operations Command Post #1 where on April 19, 1999, a Navy pilot missed the target by two miles and killed David Sanes Rodríguez, a civilian employee. His death and the Navy's refusal to investigate it triggered a new round of protests culminating in the eviction of the Navy.
