January 27: In the morning, Lula spoke at the launch of the Global
Call to Action Against Poverty. In addition, I spent time at Puxirum, the Indigenous

January 28: Launching of the Currency Transaction
Tax Campaign and other panels.
January 29: At a panel on the Ecuadorian
Indigenous Movement, then helping Ecuarunari with the web page.

30: Hugo Chavez spoke in the evening (see my report Hugo
Chavez returns to the World Social Forum). During the day there were networking
panels on universities, social forums in North
America, and ideas
on where to take the World Social Forum.
