Uniting Chile

The following information was taken from a speech Allende gave on January 13, 1971 at the University of Valparaiso.

Allende sees three problems facing Chile that he will try to solve. Once these three things have been accomplished Chile will be able to move forward:

  • Organization of all activities and people.
  • Mobilization of masses.
  • Make changes within society, citing “evolutions are first made in people, then in things.”
