The environment in Latin America and its relation to indigenous groups

In this project we plan to investigate the relationship between the indigenous peoples of Latin America with the environment.  This site will attempt to answer how deforestation and the exploitation of natural resources have affected these people and what they are doing and plan to do to improve their situations.  It is also a goal of ours to discover who and what groups are also contributing to this rebuilding process in latin america.
